Amazing Adoptions Distinguish Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center’s First Year

North Shore Animal League America is excited to celebrate the first anniversary of the opening of Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, or BFF, as we affectionately call it. During this memorable year, filled with some sad and difficult moments due to COVID-19, we are so thankful that we were able to continue our no-kill mission to Rescue, Nurture, Adopt, and Educate. And BFF was one of the reasons why we could! It’s been a bright light guiding us towards a future without a coronavirus pandemic.

In Memoriam: Isaboo

Like her millions of fans across the country, we at North Shore Animal League America are holding Rachael Ray and her husband, John Cusimano, close to our hearts as they mourn the death of their cherished Pit Bull, Isaboo, who died on May 20, 2020.

A New Era Begins at North Shore Animal League America

On the evening of October 30th, North Shore Animal League America hosted a special celebration for the completion of the Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, our new cage-free facility for kittens and cats. Beth and Howard Stern, Billy Joel, and Rachael Ray were among the many honored guests in attendance to see this new addition to our shelter that was years in the making.

Joshua Radin: Helping Us Save More Lives

Joshua Radin, singer-songwriter, animal lover, and North Shore Animal League America supporter, will be generously donating 100% of his proceeds from downloads and streams of his new song "Here, Right Now" to support North Shore Animal League America and our no-kill mission. In addition, all proceeds from his special "Here, Right Now" bracelets will also be donated to help the animals in our care.
