Get to Know Toe
Like many kittens who come through our Adoption Center, tiny Toe needed to be spayed to ensure she would never live through the hardships her mother faced to have her. But Toe’s journey has not been a simple one. Her slow recovery from that simple surgery unearthed a health crisis that our vets were fortunately able to rectify, and the knowledge of her Congenital Fibrinogen Disorder, a covered medical condition through our Pet Health Centers at cost, has proven to be powerful information that will keep her safe her whole life. Seems like a lot of drama for such a little one to go through, and she may feel a little conflicted about us humans after all she’s endured, but a reassuring brow rub is the gateway to Toe stepping towards a beautiful future with you.
